According to a recent study from market research firm Global Market Insights, the outdoor furniture market is set to grow from its current market value of $18.15 billion to more than $20.6 billion by 2026.

The outdoor furniture market is projected to expand because of the increasing number of hotels, resorts, and restaurants.

Outdoor furniture is used in public gardens, restaurants, hotels, resorts and in residential areas. While there are numerous ways of attracting customers in restaurants, during spring or summer people often opt for outdoor seating, creating a strong revenue stream for the market. Rooftop dining, dining in the garden area, and sidewalk seating are part of the trend for outdoor seating. The rising demand for outdoor restaurants is likely to drive the demand for outdoor furniture market.

Based on material, the outdoor furniture market is classified into textile, plastic, wood, metal, and others. Textile outdoor furniture segment held a volume share of over 10 percent in 2019.
