KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - No injuries were reported following an early morning fire on Jan. 13 at a Collins mill in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The cause of the fire at the Collins Products division hardboard mill is still under investigation.

Collins' particleboard mill in Klamath Falls was not affected.

The fire started in a 250,000-gallon tank, part of the plant's emission abatement system,  Keno Fire Protection District Chief John Ketchum told KOBI-TV NBC news. Material inside the tank used to scrub the emissions is what caught fire, Ketchum told reporter Lyle Ahrens.

The fire was contained by late Monday morning, with some downtime at the mill expected.
