CLEVLAND, Ohio — Minwax, an American brand of interior wood stains and clears, has announced a new challenge: Trash to Treasure. Minwax is challenging customers to transform a wooden thrifted find, curbside score or family heirloom using Minwax Wood Stain for a chance to win a $500 cash prize. 

Steps to enter:

2. Transform
Revitalize something old with Minwax products.

3. Record
Record a TikTok and/or Instagram Reel of your Trash to Treasure project, showing a before and after and highlighting how you used Minwax products throughout the transformation. You can use TikTok’s Stitch and/or Instagram's Remix feature to blend a clip from the Creator’s video into yours, starting your project journey with their inspiration.

4. Post and share
Be sure to tag @MinwaxUSA and the creator who inspired you on TikTok and Instagram, and don’t forget to use the hashtag #MinwaxTrashToTreasure.

Tip: Make sure your TikTok profile is set to “public” before posting. All submissions are due by Sunday, August 10, 2025. Post your Reel on TikTok and/or Instagram to submit your entry.
