TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, Germany — Frank Epple, Managing director of Holz-Her GmbH, has retired after more than 25 years at the Germany-based woodworking machinery manufacturer. He is succeeded by Robert Terzer.

Prior to his appointment as Managing director, Terzer was Sales and Marketing manager for the European market where, the company said, he contributed to the growth and strengthening of the Holz-Her brand. The company noted Terzer's "strategic mindset and his commitment to innovation" in announcing the promotion. Holz-Her is a division of the Weinig Group.

"We are very happy to have found such a competent and experienced Managing director from within our company in Robert Terzer," said Gregor Baumbusch, CEO of the Weinig Group. "He has done an outstanding job in his previous role and will lead Holz-Her successfully into the future with his expertise and commitment."

Weinig Holz-Her USA and Weinig Holz-Her Canada are the North American arms of the company.
