LP Building Solutions releases 2024 Sustainability Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — LP Building Solutions (LP), a manufacturer of high-performance building products, released its 2024 Sustainability Report. This comprehensive report highlights LP’s sustainability through five key pillars: governance, people, environment, products, and community.

Key highlights from LP’s 2024 Sustainability Report include:

  • Safest company award: Received the Safest Company Award from APA–The Engineered Wood Association for the 11th time in 15 years.
  • Environmental product declarations: Released eight environmental product declarations, showcasing carbon-negative products that represent 75% of our North American net sales for 2023.
  • Greenhouse gas emissions: Decreased Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity per dollar of net sales by 41% since 2019.
  • Renewable energy: Achieved 80% of energy use from renewable sources in 2023.
  • Recognition: Named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies.
  • Community support: Donated nearly $1 million to causes important to local communities in which we operate.
  • Inclusivity training: Trained 100% of active North American team members in the company’s customized inclusivity program.
  • Mental health services: Offered free and unlimited mental health counseling services for all U.S. team members.
  • Sustainable sourcing: Sourced 100% of wood fiber in adherence with stringent forest certification standards, including the
