David Arthur Groover was sentenced to 63 months in prison for the January 2010 arson at Hartselle Plywood mill.
BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The man who set fire to cabinetry firm Hartselle Plywood and Lumber Co., 39-year-old David Groover, was sentenced to 63 months in prison plus three years of supervision upon his release for the January 2010 arson.
Groover pleaded guilty to one count of arson in December. He was also ordered to pay $654,219 restitution to Hartselle Plywood and its insurance carrier by U.S. District Judge L. Scott Coogler.
