ATLANTA - Woodworking Network hosts a Market Leaders Forum during next week's International Woodworking Fair at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center.
The forum, takes place Thursday afternoon, August 23, at 3 p.m. at the Innovation Soundstage, in Booth 2429.
Attendees at the show are welcome to gather for the series of three interviews, in which wood industry execs will comment on their businesses, the woodworking industry as a whole, and their experience at the International Woodworking Fair. The event will be recorded at Woodworkgin Network's Soundstage and delivered online from the show floor.
Panelists include:
• John Bassett, chairman, and Wyatt Bassett, CEO, Vaughan-Bassett Furniture.
• Gerry Henley, president of cabinet remodeling franchise Kitchen Solvers;
• Andrew Lansford, product development manager, Decore-ative Specialties, cabinet components manufacturer.
Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Co. employs nearly 700 line workers at its Galax, VA plant. The factory is expected towill expand output 50 percent by 2013.
Decore-ative Specialties, Monrovia, CA, manufactures cabinet doors in hundreds of styles, custom-sized, in any available wood species, RTF, laminate and veneer; and offers a new service, Streamline, for online ordering of ready-to-assemble cabinets.
Kitchen Solvers, LaCrosse, WI, has 70 franchises that have remodeled more than 45,000 kitchens since the company was founded in 1982.
The panel is moderated by Bill Esler, editorial director of WoodworkingNetwork.com, and related publications Custom Woodworking Business, Closets, and Wood & Wood Products magazines.
