Female employee crushed by lumber

CROZET, Va. - A female employee was killed July 25 after being crushed by lumber.
 
Floriberta Macedo-Diaz, 46, of Yancey Lumber Co., was transported to the UVA Medical Center for her injuries early Wednesday morning. She was pronounced dead after arrival.
 
Yancey and police have not yet released any specific details. Police said they have not found anything suspicious about the accident.
 
We know that the accident shut down eastbound lanes of Virginia's Rockfish Gap Turnpike for a short time that morning.
 
OSHA is investigating the incident.
