ITASCA, Ill. — Fellowes Contract Interiors, a leader in modular wall systems, entered into a strategic alliance with Unika Vaev, an industry pioneer in sound-absorbing decorative acoustic materials.

This collaboration will combine the strengths of both companies to deliver a unique, high-design modular wall system with inserts and outserts that are enhanced by Unika Vaev’s premium acoustic solutions. This new product offering will provide the highly desired combination of design sophistication, acoustic performance, and sustainability.

The collaboration between Fellowes Contract Interiors, an FDMC 300-ranked company in the North American wood products market, and Unika Vaev, provides a unique blend of aesthetics and performance. With a variety of beautiful patterns and colors from Unika Vaev’s Ecoustic collection, including a selection of digitally printed Wilsonart® patterns, the modular walls offer more than just functionality—they make a statement.

“This partnership is a natural fit. At Unika Vaev, we have always believed that design matters, and by teaming up with Fellowes, we’re able to take our acoustic solutions to new heights,” said Wick Wolfe, President and COO of Unika Vaev. “The combination of Fellowes’ vision for modular wall systems and our high-design acoustical materials ensures that designers can create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.”

Sustainability is a core value for both companies, according to a press release. Unika Vaev’s acoustic materials (Solid Color Core) are Cradle to Cradle Bronze certified, and Fellowes’ modular walls are LEVEL certified and made with 100% recycled materials, including aluminum frames.

“We’re proud to partner with Unika Vaev, whose commitment to product design and sustainability mirrors our own,” said Todd Holderness, general manager at Fellowes Contract Interiors. “Together, we’re providing a high-design, eco-friendly solution that’s now available to a broader market through our extensive contract dealer network.”

Fellowes is offering a lifetime warranty on its modular wall frame, underscoring the quality and durability of the product while providing long-term peace of mind for customers. Additionally, designers can easily specify these products in leading industry specification tools, ensuring seamless integration into their projects within the November specification catalogs.

“This partnership delivers more than just acoustics,” said Holderness. “It’s about giving designers a solution they can rely on. No matter the space, this product brings new levels of comfort and aesthetics to the workplace.”
