Fein Power Tools U.S. names new president and CEO
PITTSBURGH - Portable power tool and fastener maker Fein US named Attila Madarasz as president and CEO. He is now in charge of all U.S. operations.
 
Madarasz brings experience from previous roles with Desoutter Tools and Atlas Copco.
 
"Madarasz has great sales expertise coupled with an outstanding understanding of the power tool market," Fein said in announcing his appointment. "Attila is a welcome and very competent addition to the FEIN team, and brings with him great experience, proven market growth results and an excellent understanding of the industry on a global scale."
 
A graduate of Elon University's Love School of Business, Madarasz has more than 20 years of experience working in global business development and sales of retail and industrial-based products. 
 
Fein U.S. is a unit of C. & E. Fein GmbH, credited as inventors of the world’s first power tool – the electric hand drill – in 1895. Wilhelm Emil Fein founded the company in 1867. Based in Germany, Fein manufactures, develops and produces application solutions for the metalworking, interior construction, and automotive sectors and is the specialist for professional and extremely reliable power tools for industry and trades. Fein holds approximately 500 patents and patent applications. Its products are distributed worldwide through 19 international subsidiaries and more than 50 agents.

Bill volunteers for Foinse Research Station, a biological field station staddling the border of Ireland and Northern Ireland, one of more than 200 members of the Organization of Biological Field Stations.
