CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Fagus GreCon Inc. has introduced Eric Peterson as CEO. He has more than 20 years of experience leading teams across a broad spectrum of manufacturing industries from food industry to building products.

Peterson will be based in the company’s North American headquarters in Charlotte. Peterson, who holds an MBA in marketing from Indiana University and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois, most recently led the Husqvarna Group’s retail handheld portfolio and has previously served as president of Sakrete of North America while at CRH/Oldcastle.

This addition of Peterson continues to build upon the organizational move from Portland, Oregon, to Charlotte that began two years ago. The move brought Fagus GreCon closer to many customers, and better able to reach the customer base. Fagus GreCon provides fire prevention equipment and measuring systems. The GreCon spark detection and extinguishment system is designed to detect and eliminate ignition sources before fires or explosions occur.
