Dieffenbacher mourns the death of Dr. of Engineering Werner Hoffmann

EPPINGEN, Germany — Werner Hoffmann died on December 22, 2023, at the age of 77. Hoffmann worked alongside Wolf-Gerd Dieffenbacher as Technical Managing Director of the Dieffenbacher Group from 1994 to 2009 and then as Managing Director of the Diefenbacher subsidiary in Leverkusen until his retirement in 2011.
In his 17 years with Dieffenbacher, Hoffmann played a key role in shaping the company and, together with Dieffenbacher, developed it from a press manufacturer into a leading international supplier of complete plants. As Technical Managing Director, Hoffmann emphasized the quality and timely completion of customer orders as well as the technical and technological development of Dieffenbacher solutions and products. His passion and mastery of these tasks added value throughout his tenure.

“In Werner Hoffmann, we are losing a person who was highly valued by the entire workforce and a leader who never forgot his humor and optimism, even in times of crisis. Those of us who knew him well will always remember him fondly,” Dieffenbacher, Hoffmann's is long-time work companion, said in a statement. “On behalf of the entire company, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family.”
