CWB partners with CMA for 2011 Custom Cabinet Conference

CHARLOTTE, NC – Custom Woodworking Business is once again teaming up with the Cabinet Makers Assn. to present educational programming for cabinet shop executives.

The 2nd annual Custom Cabinet Conference will be held alongside the 7th annual Closets & Home Organization Conference & Expo, Feb. 23-25, 2011 at the Charlotte Convention Center.

The Custom Cabinet Conference will feature an expanded curriculum of business, marketing and technology topics.

“Based on feedback gained from attendees of the successful 2010 Custom Cabinet Conference in Long Beach, CA, we plan to offer more education tracks at this year’s program,” said Rich Christianson, conference director. “CMA members are rolling up their sleeves to put together a dynamic program. These sessions are presented by CMA members who detail things they do or have done in their own shops to be more profitable.”

"We're delighted to provide educational seminars and workshops through the CMA Speaker's Bureau," said Dave Grulke, executive director of the CMA. "Our member's expertise and willingness to share will be exhibited in an informational and entertaining seminar and workshop series, and we're bound to have some fun along the way. We encourage all interested industry professionals to make plans to attend what will be an outstanding lineup in both technical and business management topics."

The Closets Expo will feature dozens of exhibitors who manufacture or distribute products for cabinets and custom woodworking projects. Products range from hardware and wood components to CAD/CAM software and machinery.
