COLUMBIA, S.C. — Carter Lumber, A Building materials supplier based in Brimfield, Ohio, have opened a new full-service lumberyard in Columbia, South Carolina, marking another step in steady expansion and continued investment in growing southern markets. Located at 1325 Veterans Rd., this new facility enables the company to provide a comprehensive range of products and services to professional home builders in the greater Columbia metropolitan area.

The Columbia location will serve as an extension of the Charlotte and Triad North Carolina markets, operating under the same management team headed by market vice president, Brandon Kujawski.

Gareth Rumley, a Columbia native and graduate of the University of South Carolina, has recently joined the company as the General Manager of the new lumberyard.
