LIVONIA, MICH. — Cabinetworks Group, the country’s largest privately owned cabinet manufacturer, has appointed Mike Wothe as its new Chief Operating Officer effective July 29. This is the second management-level appointment the company has made in July.
Earlier this month, the company announced the hire of Todd Antonelli as its first-ever chief revenue officer. Antonelli, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the building materials sector, oversees the company's multi-channel sales function.
Wothe brings more than 35 years of experience in operations management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership to Cabinetworks. The company said that Wothe's proven track record of driving operational excellence and spearheading transformative initiatives, he is well-positioned to lead Cabinetworks to new heights.
Prior to joining Cabinetworks, Wothe served as Executive Vice President of Operations at PGT Innovations (PGTI), where he was instrumental in successfully leading multi-site facilities, increasing production efficiency, and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Prior to his EVP role at PGTI, he was president of Western Windows and President of Cardinal LG, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and an unwavering commitment to operational success. He has also held the roles of Director of the CGI Board and President of the LG Company Board.

In his new role, Wothe will oversee all aspects of Cabinetworks' operations, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and logistics management, and the quality operating system. He will work closely with the executive team to ensure the company's operations align with its strategic goals and continue to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
