Cabinet manufacturer, Kabinart, files for bankruptcy

United Cabinet Company, dba Kabinart, is a 62-year-old Nashville, Tennessee, cabinet company, which operates a 170,000-square-foot facility, and employs 150 highly skilled men and women. After six decades, the company has filed bankruptcy.

Kabinart - United Cabinet Company, LLC. filed a 11 chapter bankruptcy in the Middle District of Tennessee bankruptcy court on October 06, 2025. This is a voluntary filing; it was assigned the bankruptcy case number #25-04196.

The bankruptcy petition for United Cabinet Company showed assets in the range of $1 million to $10 million with liabilities in the range of $10 million to $50 million. United Cabinet Company reports that the number of creditors is in the range of 100-199.

In April 2021, Hyperion Capital Partners acquired United Cabinet Company, LLC, which does business as Kabinart. At the time, Hyperion stated its intention to guide the company into "its next phase of growth and profitability."

The company ranks #213 on the FDMC 300 list of top North American wood products manufacturers.
