Altendorf Group sharpens customer focus with strategic realignment of management team

MINDEN, Germany — The Altendorf Group, a global manufacturer of woodworking machinery, has realigned its leadership team. The new management team consists of Matthias Picker, CEO, Ingo Körner, CFO, and Vit Kafka, CSO. Matthias Picker brings international experience from the woodworking and machine tool industries and stands for customer-oriented leadership and technological advancement. 

Ingo Körner contributes extensive expertise in strategic corporate management and process optimization. Vit Kafka has been with the company for over 30 years and, with his international sales experience, plays a key role in maintaining close ties to the market and customers.

Strategically aligned for the future
With the new leadership team, the Altendorf Group is aligning itself even more clearly with future topics and customer proximity. The company is focusing on the targeted expansion of strategically relevant markets, sustainable and values-based corporate development, and the advancement of digital and networked technologies. Strengthening international customer and partner relationships also plays a key role – enabling closer collaboration, stronger dialogue, and joint development. 

The new management team is looking forward to meeting partners, customers, and other stakeholders in person at LIGNA 2025, to continue shaping the company’s strategic direction together.

Altendorf is the global market leader in the manufacture of sliding table saws. Its most successful product is the F 45 sliding table saw, also known as "The Altendorf." The latest innovation is the Hand Guard, an early detection system with two cameras that helps to protect people, machines and materials during production. 

Together with the company Hebarock, with its high-quality edge banding machines, Altendorf has been part of the Altendorf Group since 2018. With subsidiaries in Australia, China, India and the USA, the group employs around 400 people worldwide.
