HICKORY, N.C. — Null Furniture, a family owned manufacturer that specializes in manufacturing and distributing living room tables, occasional tables, accent tables, and storage cabinets, particularly for smaller living spaces, announced in a Facebook post that they are winding down operations after 50 years in business.

The August 20 statement said, "After many years in the furniture industry, we have made the difficult decision to close Null Furniture."

The company's roots date back to the 1970s. It was taken over in the 1990s by brother and sister, and co-CEOs, Aaron Williams and Nina Sadowski. "As a family-owned business, we bring a personal touch to our craft, and we're excited to share our story with you."

In the statement, the company said they still had inventory in the warehouse and asked customer's to continue to "support us during our transition."
