KLAMATH FALLS, OR -- JELD-WEN announced that Neil Stuart has resigned as the company's Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer effective Sept. 28, 2012. JELD-WEN expects to name a successor shortly.
"I am pleased that Neil has agreed to stay engaged with JELD-WEN through October and to devote as much time as necessary to ensure a smooth transition," said JELD-WEN President Philip Orsino. "At the same time, I am confident in the ability of our strong finance team to continue the many improvement initiatives underway."
As CFO since 2009, Stuart has played a key role at the company during one of the most challenging times the building industry has faced. He has led significant change in the company and helped position it to grow and prosper, including his efforts in the successful recapitalization involving the equity investment by Onex Corporation (TSX: OCX) in 2011.
"On behalf of JELD-WEN employees worldwide, I would like to thank Mr. Stuart for his many contributions and wish him well in his next endeavor," said Orsino.
