2012 Student Portfolio Scholarship - sponsored by Wilsonart

Awards: (1) Senior $1250, (1) Junior $750, (1) Sophomore $500

Eligibility: Open to IIDA Student Members who have completed at least one year of an undergraduate Interior Design program in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Alberta or British Columbia

Format: Digital portfolio saved as a PDF document, up to 10MB. This is a typical file size limitation when sending your portfolio to a prospective employer. The file name should include your first initial, last name and 2012 Portfolio (for example, JDoe_2012Portfolio.pdf). Your portfolio should be no more than 20 pages. The portfolios will not be printed as hard copies so pages won’t be viewed side-by-side. Each page should be easily viewed on a computer monitor when “fit page” is selected…don’t rely on the judges to zoom and scroll. On the final page of your portfolio, include the following:

· Full name

· School

· Classification*

o Sophomore = Less than 2 years completed

o Junior = Less than 3 years completed

o Senior = Less 4 years completed

· Anticipated graduation date

· IIDA membership number (if you have forgotten your membership number, you can send a request to [email protected])

· E-mail Address

· Phone Number

Judging Criteria:

· Concept Delivery / Design Content 50%

· Technical Skills 20%

· Visual Communication / Graphic Appeal 20%

· Written Communication / Clarity 10%
