WMCO’s Feb. 15 webinar targets safety rebates and leadership development

HANOVER, Ontario – The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario (WMCO) will host a webinar reviewing two of its programs 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15. 

Both presentations are relevant to owners of wood product manufacturers and suppliers. Non-members are invited to attend.

James Ebidia, HSEP specialist of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, will present on the WMCO/CME WSIB Rebate Health & Safety Excellence Program that allows companies to earn rebates and lower their WSIB premiums. Ebidia session will include:

  • How to earn up to a 10% rebate of minimum $5,000 rebate with five topics;
  • How to receive non-financial recognition; and
  • How a company can improve its health and safety experience, and overall safety program.

Barry Reid, leadership trainer of LMI Canada, will preview the WMCO/LMI Leadership Series. He will explain how the LMI process provides skill development, changes in attitudes and behaviours, and measurable business results and ROI. The WMCO/LMI Leadership Series include:
