HANOVER, Ontario — The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario will hold its quarterly networking event Thursday, March 26, at Weinig Holz-Her’s showroom in Mississauga. The event will feature a trio of educational sessions focused on digital marketing, capital investment, and government funding opportunities.
Darrell Keezer, founder of Candybox Marketing, will present “Digital Marketing in 2026 – What’s Changed, What Matters.” Keezer will discuss how digital marketing has evolved over the past year, including where AI is delivering real value versus where it’s mostly noise. This session will focus on practical approaches manufacturers can use to improve visibility, lead generation, and brand credibility with both domestic and international buyers — without wasting time or budget on tactics that do not convert.
Sepp Gmeiner, CEO of Lignum Consulting Canada, will present, “Making Smarter Capital Investments – ROI on Machinery Purchases.” Gmeiner will discuss how to evaluate ROI on machinery investments, helping ensure that the right equipment is purchased at the right time based on production needs, capacity planning, and long-term growth objectives. This session will provide a framework for aligning capital investments with operational strategy and market demand, especially as companies adapt to new customer requirements and expanding market reach.
David Reynolds, owner of INAC Services, will present, “Funding Programs Update for Manufacturers.” Reynolds will provide an up-to-date overview of current funding programs available to manufacturers, including supports for workforce development, technology adoption, productivity improvements, and market expansion initiatives.
The event will include a catered networking lunch and opportunities for participants to offer their feedback on potential upcoming international industry events and trade opportunities that can help WMCO shape future initiatives based directly on member interest.
