MONTREAL — Montreal Design Week, a new event taking place April 28 to May 7, brings together the partnership of Index-Design, Archi-Design QC and Tafisa Canada. The event will also celebrate 20 years as a UNESCO City of Design within the Creative Cities Network.

This first edition expands the Index-Design professional trade show formerly Complètement Design into a unifying event that brings together the entire design and built environment industry. It will showcase Montreal’s dynamic design showcased at a variety of events and venues many open to the public as well as industry.

The 10-day event celebrating Quebec architecture and design will consist of approximately 60 free events and destinations across the city including exhibitions, open studios, design shops, talks, architectural tours, and more.

More than 10 exclusive professional events are planned including the Index-Design Salon - one-day trade show presented by Tafisa on April 30 at the Grand Quay of the city port.
