Quebec’s Sectorial Workforce Committee unveils new name and identity
Housing Workforce Sector Committee

AYER’S CLIFF, Quebec — The Sectoral Workforce Committee for the Door, Window, Furniture and Kitchen Cabinet Industries has adopted a new, more inclusive name - Housing Workforce Sector Committee.

This change reflects the organization's expanded focus, now encompassing a wider range of housing-related industries.

The various sectors now covered by the Housing Workforce Sector Committee are:

  • Doors and windows
  • Kitchen furniture and cabinets
  • Cabinetmaking and architectural carpentry
  • Concrete, gypsum, stone, clay
  • Interior design

The new name and a revamped visual identity mark a significant step forward for the committee. It allows it to better serve the diverse needs of the housing sector and support a broader community of professionals, workers, and businesses. 
Looking ahead, the committee plans to continue enriching its services and training programs to benefit all of its partners.
