Petrie joins WMCO management staff

HANOVER, Ontario – The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario recently appointed Michael Petrie as its new senior membership manager.

Petrie’s career history includes experience with small business ownership, corporate management, and academics. He is a college professor at Fanshawe College where he teaches business management courses. He previously owned and operated multiple restaurant locations and held worked in corporate marketing and sales.

Petrie’s passion for coaching and teambuilding will be evident in working with the WMCO team to better serve its members.

The WMCO has grown to include more than 130 member companies involved in the manufacture of wood products, plus industry suppliers. 

In addition, the WMCO is a partner of the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Canada's national industrial woodworking show scheduled for Nov. 2-4 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
