Cooper Enterprises has heavy-duty capabilities and equipment, but information is key to being as efficient as possible, along with innovative plant operations. The Shelby, Ohio, company offers a variety of components and manufacturing services, including stock panels, CNC machining, specialized components, panel layup and assembly.

When a stack of finished components is ready to be shrink wrapped, the forklift driver takes the pallet to the shrink wrap machine and positions it to be wrapped. Instead of dismounting and starting the wrapping machine, he pulls on an overhead cord, which activates the wrapping machine. The pallet is wrapped and is ready to be taken to shipping in a short time.
