ATLANTA—Hymmen, a technology provider for flooring, other high-end surfaces, and engineered wood, will present Digital Lacquer Embossing for SPC Floorings at the IWF 2024 Education Conference on August 7 at 1:00 p.m. Flooring expert Sebastian Bazyk will focus the session on the role digital printing will play in flooring production in the future.

According to Hymmen, “During his presentation, he will showcase the flooring production of Engineered Floors and Amorim, both of which use Hymmen technologies as concrete application examples. Anyone who wants to see and feel the outstanding flooring produced using Digital Lacquer Embossing technology (DLEplus) for themselves will find impressive samples at the trade fair stand—whether incorporated into furniture or as individual floor planks.”

Hymmen’s industrial digital printing line will be introduced for the first time. Its modern color and shape particularly underline the innovative and, at the same time, reliable process of the production line, the company said. This year's second important focus is its technology for engineered wood, primarily single and multi-layer boards and plywood/LVL.

“The positive feedback from our customers and the market’s desire for significantly higher automation and efficiency has now prompted us to expand our involvement in this market segment,” said Dr. René Pankoke, CEO and partner of Hymmen, in announcing the company’s IWF plans.
