Materials in Design will be the subject of an IWF All-Day Symposium during the show on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The presentation is sponsored by Alvic USA.

Materials in Design is aimed at the design community and fabricators and manufacturers who work closely with them. Moderated by industry authority Kenn Busch, founder of Material Intelligence, this program offers a day of discovery in materials for the design community.

Materials suppliers, designers, fabricators and presenters will be part of the event. Attendees will be able to visit the show floor before or after Materials in Design.

With more than a dozen speakers and panelists, including authoritative names in design and innovators in fabrication and manufacturing methods, attendees will learn about innovations in surface materials, trends in color and design, and advances in hardware, adhesives, and emerging technologies for decoration and fabrication of interior furnishings and surfaces.

Attendees will include commercial interior designers, interior architects, furniture designers, kitchen and bath designers, retail fixture designers, cabinet designers, millwork designers, millwork draftsmen, buyers at wood manufacturers; and manufacturers and distributors of design software, panel, components and hardware and technology.
