Black Bros. has engineered several improvements to its Over Stack Panel Feeder, which robotically pushes substrates off an autoindexing scissor lift and into production equipment. Enhancements include: increased pushing force and running speed, up to 300 lbs. and 100+ fpm; increased range of board thicknesses, now capable of feeding board of 1/8” up to 4”; and improved air cylinder, carriage movement, and operator ergonomics.

ACMOS 100-5030 from Acmos Inc. is a silicone-free release agent for edgeband machine spray systems. According to the company, it is non-flammable and is economical in consumption, simplifying transportation and storage.

SNX has introduced a high-performance non-filled EVA hotmelt glue for straight-line and contour edgebanders. The non-filled XE195-220c clear glue will give a user much better adhesion with an invisible glue line. With no clay fill to burn, the gue can have an operating temperature of up to 220 degrees Celsius. The glue is available in a 2 lb. sample size, 5-gallon pail, 44 lb. bag and by the pallet.

The King Starboard WG from King Plastic Corp. is an all-weather wood grain polymer sheet that has a wood grain finish on both sides. Sheets are available in 5 colors, including Mocha Brown, Nutmeg, Indigo, Charcoal Gray, and Slate Gray. Sheet size is 48" x 96" and gages are 1/2" and 3/4". The company says the polymer sheets are environmentally stabilized to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
