WPE Lancaster exhibitor preview videos: Guffey’s new offset expansion and drawer box hangers

MANHEIM, Pa. — Guffey Systems, a manufacturer of vertical spray finishing technology, will introduce its Offset Expansion Hanger and Drawer Box Hander at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, October 23-24 at Spooky Nook Sports.

The new Expansion hanger, designed to press into hinge pockets, delivers a tool-free, secure hold making it easier to spray doors and drawer faces with speed and precision.

Guffey Systems Offset Expansion Hanger

Like Guffey Systems’ original Offset Hanger, the Expansion version features a narrow, offset body that allows full spray access around the part. Its ergonomic handle also provides a clean lifting point to avoid contact with wet finishes. The key upgrade is a twist-to-tighten expander that locks snugly into hinge pockets.

Key features and benefits include:

  • Tool-free fit – Presses into hinge pocket with no tools
  • Twist snug – Expander tightens for a firm, wobble-free hold
  • Spray block – Blocks hinge pocket from collecting overspray
  • Clean lifting point – Handle avoids finish damage
  • Full coverage – Offset design allows full spray access
  • Versatile compatibility – Works with Guffey’s PivotPoint and PivotLine systems

Tool-free Drawer Box Hanger
Guffey Systems will also exhibit its new Drawer Box Hanger — a fast, space saving way to finish drawer boxes. Designed for seamless integration with both PivotPoint stationary and PivotLine rolling spray hubs, the hanger lets finishers lift a drawer box to eye level, spray every side in one pass, and leave it hanging to dry. No sawhorses, floor racks, or extra handling is required.

Three quick attachment methods:

  1. Tool-free – slides into drawer box bottom relief gap
  2. Tap in fit – Lightly tap the hanger into place with a hammer
  3. Screw on option – secure with a single fastener for oversized or specialty drawers.

Advantages in the spray booth include:

  • Finish all sides at once – Front, back, and edges receive an even coat in a single rotation
  • Ergonomic eye level spraying – Minimizes bending, reaching, and fatigue
  • Optimized airflow – Open drawer cavities dry faster with unobstructed ventilation
  • Zero floor footprint – Drawers stay on the rail to dry, freeing up valuable shop space
  • Full compatibility – Works with PivotPoint and PivotLine systems

In addition to displaying the Offset Expansion Hanger and Drawer Box Hanger, Guffey will feature new videos at its booth #108 -- how to use PivotLine equipment to streamline finishing processes and a testimonial showcasing N-Hance Cabinet and Floor Refinishing's use of Guffey products.
