MANHEIM, Pa. – Uneeda says the flexible foam backing of its Ekadiamond abrasive sponges reduces loading while providing the ability to sand curves, mouldings, and complex profiles.
Uneeda will demonstrate Ekadiamond sponges at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, Oct. 13-14 at Spooky Nook Sports.
The unique diamond-shaped pattern of Ekadiamond sponges facilitates increased dust extraction while dispersing heat from friction more evenly and efficiently, Uneeda says. The design reduces dust and residue build-up typically created during complex profile sanding. Not only will dust particles fall away from the sponge, but the cooling effect means that with less heat generated, less loading and less static will occur with minimal to no grain shedding.
Ekadiamond sponges are color coded for easy grit identification: #100 Green, #120 Gold, #150 Purple, #180 Blue, and #220 Orange. They are suitable for sanding hardwood, softwood, particleboard, metal, and composites.
