CHARLOTTE, NC - Go-Lean-Six and Woodworking Network are offering Charotte area woodworkers an opportunity to earn up to a Black Belt certification in lean methodology. Lead by popular Wood Pro Expo lean expert, Mike Roth, the Lean Boot Camp kicks off weekly sessions beginning October 2 at the Comfort Suites in Huntersville, NC.
The program is designed for executives, directors, managers, supervisors, engineers and continuous improvement practitioner's. "This Lean-Six course prepares participants for the role of a Lean-Six practitioner," said Roth, president of Go-Lean-Six. Lean-Six relies on a collaborative team effort to improve performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation. It combines lean principles, strategies and techniques to identify and eliminate the eight kinds of waste.
"We will be teaching theory, supplemented with real-world workable examples in every section with improvement events so you can immediately apply what you have learned to your work environment," said Roth
