Videos: Guffey Systems’ non-contact spray finishing solutions

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Guffey Systems will formally introduce two systems for finishing wood parts and products at Wood Pro Expo Florida, co-located with the Closets Expo.

PivotLine is a system of stationary rail, mobile rails, pivot line cars, and an assortment of hangers that allow companies to go from bare wood to final coat and drying without having to touch the finished surface of the workpiece.

PivotPoint is a non-contact, pivoting spray point combined with hangers and racks for batch processing of wood components. Guffey says PivotPoint offers a cost-effective option to spray all sides of a workpiece at once and is ideal for shops with smaller spray booths. The company adds that almost every component of Pivot Point can be used when a company upgrades to a Pivot Line.

Both of the scalable material handling systems for moving wood components through all phases of the finishing process were developed by a custom cabinetmaker. The systems can be used by a one-man refinishing shop through a mass-production cabinet manufacturing facility.

Guffey Systems will display examples of PivotLine and Pivot Point at booth #224. Learn more at guffeysystems.com.

Wood Pro Expo Florida and the Closets Expo will take place June 9-10 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The two-day expo is preceded by a full-day conference program with plant tours on June 8.
