Video: Green Fast Cure's flameless catalytic infrared heaters

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Green Fast Cure (GFC) will display its plug-and-play GF2 flameless catalytic infrared heaters at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Florida and Closets Conference & Expo. The event is scheduled for June 8-10, 2021 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

The flameless combustion of the GF2 system emits medium infrared waves that generate heat within any liquid coating through molecular excitation driving solvents and water outward. GFC says its system can be used for drying or curing any type of organic coating. The company adds that it is particularly efficient for curing water-based coatings as it forces the moisture out within 2 to 3 minutes.

In an addition to a control panel, the GF2 features a pyrometer on each thermos-heating head to read and control surface temperature, a flexible arm system with a 60-inch span and 180-degree rotation, and a rail system that allows the GF2 to move sideways. The versatile system can be used for a variety of applications including wood products, aerospace, automotive, composites, and steel. GFC says the system can reduce energy consumption by up to 80 percent compared to hot-air curing.
