Experience Loox, Hafele’s innovative lighting system at Charlotte show
CHARLOTTE - Hafele will be exhibiting its Loox LED lighting system and the Connect app among other products in Booth #200 at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Charlotte/Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo. The show takes place March 6-8 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.

Hafele says the Loox LED lighting system is adaptable to any power system in the world and offers designers the opportunity to put light practically anywhere for any purpose. With Loox LED, light can be had within furniture, shelving, works of lighted art, decorative accents, cabinetry, closets, and much more.

Complementing the lighting system is the Hafele Connect app, which allows for real-time, programmed and customizable control of all Loox LED lighting fixtures and components with a tablet or smartphone. Available in the Android and iOS app stores, the app will also control many other Smart-Home functional fittings that are controllable via Bluetooth through Connect BLE boxes.

“The ability to control any Loox light from an app is a huge step forward into the connected home,” says Jeff Ratkus, category manager for Hafele. “This advance has a tremendous effect from the perspective of functionality and design as well as everyday livability and use.”

The company offers Loox LED in flexible strips and silicone, modular pucks, and flush fixtures. The company says the fixtures radiate little heat to use less energy, and the LED technology incorporates a variety of power systems for flexible installation. Pucks are available in surface- or recess-mounted styles with a choice of round or square trim, while the fixtures are suited to any area prone to condensation, small splashes, or moisture.
