Inside Intel: A tour traces its founders and the man who coined Moore's Law

At the 2019 Executive Briefing Conference, attendees will have an option to visit the Intel Museum, which traces the history of silicon chip technology, its impact on our world, and the story of Intel and its founders Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore.

You will go behind the scenes in the high-tech world of California’s famed Silicon Valley. See what it’s like inside an ultra-clean, highly automated silicon chip factory, and connect with technologies that give us new ways to work, learn, play, and communicate. The Intel Museum is 10,000 square feet of fun, interactive learning.

The Intel 4004 Chip
In 1965, Intel co-founder Gordon Moore made a remarkable prediction for technology advancement, one that would set the pace for our modern digital revolution. Moore extrapolated that computing would dramatically increase in power, and decrease in relative cost, at an exponential pace. Known as Moore’s Law, it became the golden rule for the electronics industry, and a springboard for innovation.

At the Executive Briefing Conference, after touring the Intel Museum, attendees will visit architectural millwork firm Mission Bell Manufacturing for a plant tour and reception.
