GREEN BAY, Wis. — After 50 years helping shape the commercial design landscape at The Mart, KI Furniture will make its final appearance at NeoCon this June 9-11, closing an iconic chapter in the company’s brand journey.
Since 1969, NeoCon has showcased its range of contract interior design ideas. This year, KI invites attendees to visit showroom #1181 at The Mart to celebrate the past and preview a bold new future.
“We are excited to showcase many new products at this year’s NeoCon and celebrate our time at The Mart with a high note,” said Tony Besasie, chief sales and marketing officer at KI.
“NeoCon has played a significant role in our history. And now, we’re taking the next step in our story, one that reflects a more design-forward, modern and dynamic KI, as we transition to a brand-new location in Fulton Market next year.”
With the conclusion of its lease at The Mart, KI saw an opportunity not just to relocate – but also to reimagine, the company said. In 2026, KI will open a new full-floor showroom in Chicago’s Fulton Market, a move that represents a bold shift in the brand’s identity. The new space will offer increased flexibility, accessibility and energy, while serving as a canvas for KI’s creative advancements.
“We’re moving beyond the expected and creating a space to grow,” said Besasie. “Our move to Fulton Market allows us to showcase and fulfill our vision: a brand that delivers trusted quality and pairs it with elevated design, artful engineering and fresh relevance. We’ll continue to be rooted in leading insights for the modern needs of business, education and healthcare environments.”
At this year’s NeoCon event, attendees will experience a glimpse into the future of KI, one that blends functionality with form, and purpose with artistry.
NeoCon 2025 will be attendees’ last chance to explore KI’s current showroom, and they’re pulling out all the stops. Alongside popular experiences like their showroom party on Monday, June 9, KI will debut six new products that exemplify the company’s design evolution, including:
- Cascha Furniture – Soft seating for adaptable spaces, where style meets versatility.
- Civara Task Seating – Ergonomic innovation meets Italian design, featuring synchronized recline, 4D armrests and customizable lumbar support; designed by CLAUDIO BELLINI Studio.
- Clamber Tiered Seating – Multi-level modular seating built for interaction and connection.
- Cogni Seating – Thoughtfully designed for movement, mobility and sensory engagement.
- Thesis and Vesta Power – Portable battery-powered charging for work and learning without boundaries.
- Zentori Conference Seating – Sophisticated, self-adjusting seating that redefines meeting room comfort.
Additionally, KI will offer exclusive previews of two upcoming product lines – Outspan outdoor furniture and Passel desking system – set to launch in late 2025. The company said that each of these designs represents more than a product; they are outcomes of a journey — one driven by research, dialogue and the courage to do the unexpected.
“Our customers know us for quality,” Besasie added. “Now, they’ll experience how that same quality translates into smart, elevated design. We’re growing, not just as we move to a new space, but also in our purpose.”
He said that KI’s final NeoCon appearance is both a tribute to a 50-year legacy at The Mart, and an invitation to discover its next chapter. From education, healthcare, workplace, government and industrial markets, this is where design meets dependability, and where a brand known for stability reveals a bold new side.
“We invite everyone, clients, designers, partners and friends, to join us at NeoCon 2025,” said Besasie. “This is a once-in-a-generation moment. Come celebrate with us. Say farewell. And hear more about where we’re going next.”
