KCMA springs forward with successful conference

More than 200 cabinet makers, suppliers, and other friends of the industry attended the KCMA Spring Leadership Conference at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Garden, Florida.

Held April 8-10, the event featured networking opportunities, educational programming, and excursions.

The program featured 4 educational sessions:

  • Panel: What we wish you knew: Lessons from our suppliers - Phyllis Crystal, Uneeda, Moderator; Paul Smith, Hafele; Nathan Klump, SCC; Lance Millican, Schattdecor
  • State of Cyberwarfare: Risk to the Enterprise - Jeff Multz, Bishop Fox; Ed Manteuffel, Genesis Products
  • Update on trade cases with China and newly imposed tariffs - Luke Meisner, Schagrin Associates
  • The U.S. Housing Market and Forecast for the Coming Years - Jesse Wade, National Association of Home Builders

At the KCMA's annual business meeting, President Casey Bell (Bellmont Cabinet Co.) took the opportunity to thank Jeremy Rentschler (Indiana Dimensions, Inc.) for his service on the Board as his term comes to an end. The group also wished Gene Swartz (eVision Services, LLC) well as he begins his retirement.

At the President’s Dinner, the 2025 Designer Award was presented to Dani Cross (Lived In Design Studio). The winning design featured cabinets from Crystal Cabinet Works. Three generations of the ownership family were in attendance.

The 2025 Fall Management Conference and Plant Tours will be held Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, in Montreal. A highlight of the Fall conference is a series of plant tours. Attendees will be touring:
