DENVER - To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) will hold its first-ever national conference, March 1-2, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. The event will kick off with a networking reception at 6 pm on Feb. 28.

With the idea that the industry needed a group for small to mid-size shops to network and help each other grow profitably, CMA was incorporated in 1998. It has grown to include hundreds of small to medium sized cabinet shops, millworkers, furniture makers, and suppliers throughout the USA and Canada, with a few international members as well.

The conference will host a lineup of speakers on various subjects such as: the art of pricing profitably, transitioning to CNC, succession planning strategies, and technology tools. It will also host tours of local plants, a panel discussion for finding employees, and training in sales and marketing.

The registration fee ranges from $50 to $950 depending on membership and will include a one-year membership for non-members. The fee includes admission to all sessions as well as meals during the event, but it does not cover travel and lodging.

CMA has secured a group rate of $135 a night for rooms at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center located at 15500 East 40th Ave., Denver, Colorado. Attendees are encouraged to extend their stay in the Denver area through the weekend as the group rate is valid three days before and three days after the conference.

The stay includes breakfast for up to two guests, complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, complimentary shuttle to and from Denver International Airport, and complimentary shuttle service within a five mile radius of the hotel. Reservations must be made by Feb. 7, 2018 with the booking code, CAB.
