WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will participate in the 2025 Closets Conference & Expo to be held June 11-13, at the Palm Beach Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. ASID and its Florida South chapter will host two DESIGN Talks sessions on Thursday, June 12, offering insights into design trends and closet innovations.
Insights on Design's Evolving Impact
The first ASID session, "Insights on Design’s Evolving Impact," is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, from 12:50 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. in the Coral Ballroom. This presentation will look at ASID's 50 years of design leadership and forecast the industry's future.
Lindsey Koren, ASID Affiliate and Director of Communications for ASID, will present along with Perrin Graham-Jackson, ASID Associate and Chair-Elect of the ASID Universal Design Committee. They will discuss how adaptive strategies intersect with sustainability, style, and smart technology in design, including closets and storage.
The discussion will pull from ASID's 2025 Trends Outlook, which identifies shifts in client values, economic factors, and innovations impacting the built environment. The report notes an increased demand for purpose-driven design, circular sustainability, and resilient materials, particularly in residential spaces such as closets.
"The closet is becoming a hub of innovation," Koren stated. "Fashion and interiors are converging, with consumers favoring timeless, functional pieces that reflect individuality."

Later that day, the ASID Florida South chapter will host "Designing the Ultimate Closet: South Florida Trends & Elevated Experiences" on Thursday, June 12, from 3:40 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. in the Coral Ballroom.
