TORONTO – Republic of II By IV, a Toronto-based industrial design studio, unveiled three new collections at Salone del Mobile Milano, April 16-21.
Each of the collections reflects Republic of II By IV’s preference for contemporary lifestyle. They include:

Picos Collection: In collaboration with Ames, Republic of II By IV said the Picos Collection represents a fusion of ancestral Colombian techniques with contemporary design aesthetics. The coffee table and side table, inspired by Colombia's majestic “Cerros de Mavecure,” has a conical black clay base originating from the Tolima region, and a handwoven tabletop made with natural fique fiber from the Boyaca region.
Sierra Collection: Also, in collaboration with Sentta, Republic of II By IV’s Sierra Collection, is crafted from solid ash wood. The collection includes a lounge chair, armchair, dining chair, counter stool, and bar stool. The company said the Sierra Collection was inspired by the visual narrative of wood's odyssey from forest landscapes to the ocean shores, culminating as driftwood.

Samara Collection: Partnering with Sentta, Republic of II By IV said the Samara Collection draws inspiration from the dynamic movement and shifting landscape of sand dunes shaped by desert winds. Each piece – including a lounge chair, sofa, and sectional – showcases distinctive gestures in both solid wood base and upholstery.
