2022 Top Shelf Design Awards

Designer: Binh Ly, Inspired Closets

Category: Home Office: Over 150 sq ft.

Project Title: Elysian Office - Miles of Files

Project Description:

The client wanted a home office that overlooked the banister to see her clients when they came in. She is a CPA and has an assistant. She needed maximum space usage with two printers and lots of filing drawers. The seating for her and the assistant is diagonal from each other so they don't bump when they need to back out of their seating.

Project Construction:

14 file drawers, corner shelving, open shelving to house printer, upper cabinetry with cubbies for letters and binders, two places for the client and her assistant to sit. Decorative panels in shaker and beadboard. The beadboard is near the banister to tie in the look.

Materials Used:

Morning Mist in Thermally Fused Laminate on Cabinetry. Countertop in Blue Stone TFL. Handles in Modern Rectangle in Matte Nickel

Equipment Used:

CAD - STOW's (Inspired Closets) Proprietary software
