ORLANDO, Fla. — ClosetMaid PRO, a division of ClosetMaid serving building and construction industry professionals, unveiled its new product, FastFinish, at the 2026 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) last month in Orlando. FastFinish, a design-and-build pre-finished shelf-and-rod system with a range of applications, is designed to provide homebuilding professionals with a fast, affordable, and high-quality alternative to outdated, built-in-place painted-MDF plank-and-pole systems.

“FastFinish™ is a gamechanger and a much-needed update to the outdated plank-and-pole system,” said Brian Dougherty, vice president of sales, ClosetMaid PRO. “For too long, builders have been forced to choose between speed, quality, and affordability. FastFinish™ represents a timely and necessary response to that gap, delivering a streamlined, affordable system purpose-built to reduce labor dependency, eliminate inefficiencies, and help builders keep projects moving without compromise.”

FastFinish can be installed in under an hour with basic tools and requires no caulking or painting, and addresses the biggest challenges for industry professionals: speed, ease, and affordability.

“With FastFinish compressing a multi-step, multi-trip workflow into one fast, clean, and predictable installation, we’re enabling a true one-hour closet – one trip, one superior system. We’re excited to showcase this new product at the biggest homebuilding trade show in the country and then introduce it across our markets,” Dougherty added.
