Our industry has a thirst for education and realizes now, when times are good, it is the best time to invest in new technologies, hiring processes, new materials to name a few. Professionals are thinking about the future and what do they need to ensure continued success.
I’ve attended two powerful industry events in the last month, Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo in Pasadena, California, and the Woodworking Industry Conference in Cancun, Mexico. Both events produced packed conference rooms with attendees anxious to learn new techniques about closet design, pricing, the high-end market, how to hire and retain good employees, how to communicate with Baby Boomers, Gen X and Millennials. Each session ended with long Q&A periods that had to be taken outside in order to continue on schedule with additional programs.
That’s why I’m excited to moderate along with my colleague, Michaelle Bradford, the Closets Symposium at IWF on August 23. We have an amazing lineup of great topics and speakers. We’ll be presenting a quick look at the demographics of our industry from a brand new research study as well as many other key topics. Your attendance at the symposium guarantees you will have many networking opportunities during breaks and lunch. Also, you will receive a pass for all four days to walk the show floor of the largest woodworking event in North America, IWF! .
Please give me a call if you need more information. I hope to see you there!
