In his opening remarks, Klein noted several initiatives the organization plans to launch in the coming year including an online basic training course for sales and design, working with an industrial designer to develop new closet and home organization products for vendors and creating a photo exchange.
The afternoon session featured a presentation by Karen Rolleri, Organizeology, on how she successfully charges clients for designs as well as the consultation. That presentation was followed by roundtable discussions on pricing, marketing, best practices and more.

Day two of the summit featured sessions on installation, a presentation from a former closet franchisee (closet franchises are not allowed to attend the event) and quick-fire presentations from four closet companies on their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
The summit ended with a tour of Artisan's 29,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and showroom.
Bob Stern, New Concepts in Storage, will host the 2020 event in Charlotte, North Carolina.
