CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Electric and air portable sanding systems for dust-free sanding will be on display by SurfPrep at the co-located Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo Charlotte, March 6-8 in the Charlotte Convention Center.
According to the company, the foundation of the SurfPrep Sanding System is built on attention to detail and manufacturing of its foam abrasive sanding pads and industrial air sanders. SurfPrep continues creating new products with the focus of reducing both labor and sanding material costs.
Among the products on display at the SurfPrep by Dixon Booth #518 will be 5- and 6-inch Electric Ray sanders, Trident Air sanders, the 3x8 and 3x4 Electric Ray sanders, and LED inspection lights as well as foam-, paper-, and film-backed abrasives.
The company says the 5-inch and 6-inch Electric Ray portable sanders have a low-profile, ergonomic design with enhanced grip control and a balanced wrist support for two-handed sanding. With four operational speeds at 4,000, 7,000, 9,000, and 10,000 RPM, they feature a 350 watt brush-less, outer-runner motor that is constructed with large magnets to provide greater torque.
They also feature a downforce overload system, which protects the sander from excessive pressure; a temperature overheat system, which monitors the temperature; and an internal breaking system, which stops the backup pad from spinning when pressure is taken off of the throttle lever. They are available in a central vacuum system, which connects to a stand-alone vacuum system.
