"How to run a business better" is the recurring theme for a three-track conference as the Cabinets & Closets Conference comes to Chicagoland Tuesday, April 11, 2017, returning to the Renaissance Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois.Conference sessions begin with a keynote address, "Small Business Numbers that Matter," at 8:00 a.m. Afterward the conference will split into three individually focused tracks:
- Closets: Growing a Profitable Business, produced in partnership with the Association for Closets & Storage Professionals;
- Cabinets: Power Up Your Business, developed with the Cabinet Makers Association; and
- Lean Management, a five-session focus on reducing waste and improving profit margins that applies to any business. The Lean Management track will be delivered by Jim Lewis and Brad Cairns of the Center for Lean Learning.
Early Bird Savings Until March 10
Attendees are free to move between tracks for sessions that particularly interest them.The registration fee of $295 (early bird rate until March 10) includes a power breakfast, peer-to-peer luncheon, and networking reception after. Attedees also receive free admission to the two-day exposition following the conference.
A plant tour sponsored by Stiles Machinery, departing at 3:30 p.m. and returning in time for the reception, is also included as part of the program. The locationwill soon be determined, but Stiles Machinery makes sure the site tour of its customers is both educational and inspiring.
