PASADENA, Calif. - Technological advances have made incorporating LED lighting under cabinets and shelving a must with home owners, offering an opportunity to spice up areas of the closet, office or kitchen.

As the demand for lighting options increases, it's important for closet and remodeling companies to understand how to properly install the fixtures. And the 2018 Cabinets & Closets Conference, to be held March 27-29 at the Pasadena Convention Center, will offer attendees an opportunity to learn the latest on LED lighting as well as installation.

"Rules of Lighting - Everything you need to know about how to incorporate lighting into design projects as well as key tips on installation" will be presented by Michael Stubblefield, Western Division Lighting Business Manager at Tresco Lighting.

Stubblefield, an industry veteran, says he has spent over 45 years in the cabinet, closet, and woodworking industry.

"I worked my way through college working in the kitchen planning department at Sears selling kitchen cabinets, have had my own cabinet shop for a number years, and was plant manager for Killion Industries in Vista, California, a manufacturer of grocery checkout stands," he says. "I spent 22 years at Hafele America Co as a salesman, sales manager, and Branch Manager of their Los Angeles facility. I have worked at Rev-A-Shelf for the past 9 years first as Western Division Closet Business Manager and now as Western Division Lighting Business Manager for Tresco Lighting a Rev-A-Shelf company."
