Heartland Cabinetry specializes in building tailored kitchen cabinets with a furniture-like appearance for new construction homes.

DALLAS -  J. Marcus Scrudder, president and owner of Heartland Cabinetry and Furniture Inc., Dallas, was named to the board of DGSE Companies, a publicly traded jewelry and precious metals wholesaler. Scrudder was previously Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Craftmade International, the NASDAQ-traded producer of ceiling fans, lighting and outdoor furniture.

Heartland Cabinetry and Furniture got its start in 1978 by a custom homebuilder and master carpenter in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. It has evolved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing company. Heartland says its approach has been to transform the traditional cabinet appearance to one of custom furniture, with customized finishes and counter surfaces to fit the design of the home.

Its 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility utilizes computer aided design and automated manufacturing processes to give buyers quality and precision at a value price.
