Congressmen Announce Bipartisan Bill to Curb Illegal Timber Trade

NASFM Presents Retail Design Awards

LAS VEGAS – The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers celebrated the 36th anniversary of its awards presentation on March 7, during an awards ceremony at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Fifty-two awards were presented in recognition of the design of the retail environments. The Fixture of the Year Award went to Lily Simon for its elegant fixture grouping. New-Home Sales Drop 16.6% in January

WASHINGTON – Sales of new single-family homes dropped in January following sales gains in November and December, according to figures released by the U.S. Commerce Department. The preliminary sales pace declined 16.6% for the month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 937,000 units, down 20.1% from a year earlier. The decline was particularly harsh for builders in the West.
